CertifyQR

Terms of Use

In effect from October 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of the CertifyQR app and this website. CertifyQR is provided by Yury Hryshchanka, a private individual in Belarus ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

The English and Russian versions of these terms are equivalent versions of one document.

What CertifyQR does

CertifyQR lets a business issue gift certificates for its services as QR codes, share them with clients, and check and redeem them by scanning. A certificate can be closed once it has been used, or edited to record what remains.

CertifyQR is a tool for keeping these records. We are not a party to the sale of a certificate: the business sells it on its own terms, receives the payment directly and is solely responsible for honouring it. CertifyQR does not handle payments between businesses and their clients.

Accounts and organisations

You sign in with Google or Apple and are responsible for what happens in your account.

An organisation has one owner, who can let workers join. Every member can create, edit, scan and close the organisation's certificates, and the history records who did what. The owner decides who joins and is responsible for that choice.

What you enter

You are responsible for what you enter, certificate titles included. Do not enter information you have no right to record, and do not use CertifyQR to issue misleading or fraudulent certificates.

Plans and payments

  • A new owner receives a free starter allowance of certificates. More can be bought in the app, as a monthly subscription or as one-time packs.
  • Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play and are billed by Apple or Google to the store account you buy with. The price is shown in the app and in the store before you buy.
  • A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you turn off auto-renewal before the period ends; on the App Store, at least 24 hours before. You manage and cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting the app or your CertifyQR account does not cancel it.
  • A pack adds a fixed number of certificates. They are used up as you create certificates and do not renew.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies. If a purchase is refunded, what it granted is withdrawn.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, do not access other organisations' data, and do not use CertifyQR for anything unlawful.

Availability and liability

We work to keep CertifyQR available and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or disputes between a business and its clients over certificates. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using CertifyQR at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; where it is reasonable, we will tell you first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in advance where we can. Using CertifyQR after a change takes effect means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Belarus. If you use CertifyQR as a consumer, you keep any protection the law of your own country gives you that cannot be waived by agreement.

If you got the app from Apple's App Store

  • These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
  • Your licence to use the app cannot be transferred and covers Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store usage rules allow.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies to it, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • We, not Apple, are responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and consumer protection claims.
  • If anyone claims that the app infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and resolving that claim.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo or designated by it as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any United States Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • You must follow the terms of any third-party service you use with the app.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
